  • 1 paragraph (3-5 sentences)
  • What is the Lab about?
  • Why are you doing the Lab?
  • How does it relate to what you are studying in Science?
  • What is your HYPOTHESIS?

MATERIALS
  • List all of the necessary materials.
  • Draw pictures.
  • Be accurate in units and quantities.

PROCEDURE
  • List all procedures.
  • Do not leave out ANY steps.
  • This is an accurate step by step process, so someone else could repeat your experiment.

DATA & GRAPHS
  • This section will be messy.
  • Include:
    • Prelab Notes
    • Observations
    • Data
    • Graphs
    • Data Tables

CONCLUSION
  • Summary of your DATA.
    • Any important equations?
  • What does the DATA mean?  Explain your observations and graphs.
  • List any problems that occurred.
    • How did it affect your results?
