Powers of Ten
1. Review the Powers of Ten video located at: http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/primer/java/scienceopticsu/powersof10/index.html
2. Manipulate the demonstration manually in both directions by pushing the tab labeled MANUAL, and use the FORWARD or REVERSE buttons.
3. In your lab book record each power of ten:
a. Record the metric measurement. (For example: 1 light year)
b. Record the Scientific Notation. (For example: 10+16 meters)
c. Describe what you see in the pictures at each magnitude of ten.
4. Review the Powers of Ten video, and prepare yourself for a quiz.
